About me: 
Ron has been a volunteer for TU since 2000. He has served as board president for the Greater Upper Valley chapter in VT/NH, as well as a short stint as Vermont's NLC rep. and most recently as the New England rep for the Embrace-A-Stream grant. Currently Ron is Secretary of the VT Council and Membership chair for the GUV chapter. Since 2011 Ron has worked for the Connecticut River Conservancy. He is the Director of Restoration Programs, overseeing and coordinating the organization's dam removals, riparian buffer plantings, and in-stream habitat work in NH, VT, MA and CT. Ron is a graduate of Wittenberg University in Springfield, OH where he majored in Political Science and Economics. Prior to moving to Vermont, where he lives with his wife Betsy, Ron worked in politics and government in Washington D.C. and Ohio.
