This time of year, nymphing or streamers will be your best opportunity for fooling the trout. Make sure your fly is ticking the bottom of the stream occasionally, this will help you stay in the feeding zone! We lke a tandem fly set up, mix up smaller nymphs along with a zebra midge.
Seven-day forecast:
We bypassed spring and went straight into summer conditions. This week will be hot; roughly 16 degrees above normal. This will cause the water temperature to increase in the tailwater. This will also get the metabolism of the fish to ramp up and have the fish feeding all day!
