Yellowstone River - Livingston

Tip of the week:

There has been some dry fly activity with midges during the afternoon, but windy conditions most days make it tough to fish dries. Fishing down deep with stonefly nymphs or bugger trailed with smaller mayfly or midge pupa is still best. Fish can be found holding in the slower, deeper runs, eddies and near spring creeks. Streamer fishing is still an option, and you can try fishing them slow and deep for the best results.

Seven-day forecast:

Finally a warming trend to make it worth a try. Of course wind will be the main issue as usual at this time of year.
